Whereby members of the band are only allowed to participate and/or perform if they
can prove to be attending school without absenteeism, completing homework assignments
on time and not getting into any trouble.

|
Whereby participants must act in a manner that respects the rights, freedoms and
opinions of all others, including but not limited to: the leaders of the band, their
fellow band members; their teachers and classmates; their family members; and all
others in society.

|
|
Whereby participants must act in a manner that demonstrates an equal commitment
to the shared purpose / goal of the band: excellence. This includes such things
as being committed to their own musical development and that of their peers and/or
younger band members.

|
Whereby each band member recognizes that they have a responsibility to protect our physical/natural environment. As such, we must all be committed to ensuring that we do not litter; help to keep the community clean; do not pollute our water; and, participate in an environmental clean up project at least once per year.

|
Whereby each band member must avoid any contact with drugs, alcohol and/or smoking
– particularly, but not exclusive to, when participating in band events.
|
|
|
Whereby each band member must avoid any activities that are, or could be deemed,
criminal.
|
|
|
Whereby each band member accepts that teen pregnancy can significantly limit their
ability to achieve their full potential, and a promise is made to avoid being responsible
for someone becoming pregnant (boys) or becoming pregnant (girls).
